MH Boxes
MH Boxes
MH Boxes is a nonprofit organization that provides mental health care boxes for young Black girls in the VA community. The business was created by Mila, a 13-year-old girl who faced a personal battle with mental health and has begun a mission to bring joy and support to other Black girls facing the same experience.
MH Boxes aims to dismantle the stigma around mental health and open up conversations about mental health and seeking professional help within Black families and communities.

B2B Strategy
Objective
Create a lasting connection with mental health professionals who understand the importance of supporting the mental health of young black girls
Problem
There has been a rise in the mental health crisis within children and adolescents but a shortage of health personnel in schools and health practices
By the 2014–15 school year, there was one school counselor for every 482 students. The recommended ratio from the American School Counseling Association is one school counselor for every 250 students.
Target:
The patient-centered care physician or counselor
Mental health professionals or counselors see hundreds of patients or students and feel they never have time to reach everyone. They want to involve patients or students in their progress and decisions to improve. They want to make sure all of their needs are met and value personalized care of their patients or students.
The Strategy: Get mental health professionals and schools to be proactive rather than reactive by showing that there is a way to be personable
